CFCC Kids College 2010

Yesterday was the first day of class for the Summer Kids' College at Cape Fear Community College. I'm team teaching the class with the awesome Brooke Stephens. Monday was full of Asian inspired paper art. We learned about Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, as we created our own 3D figures. We also used paper to build kites. Just like the original kites, we used a rectangular shape for our final piece. Then we all went outside and flew the kites.
