The opening reception for High Fiber Content was a huge success. I had
my interactive sound sculpture on display. The shell forms are made of
fabric and have an embedded audio component.

Sculpture Salmagundi XIV Opening

I've got two pieces in the 2010 Sculpture Salmagundi XIV Exhibition at The Arts Center at the Imperial Centre in Rocky Mount, NC. The show runs through January 3, 2011. I'm showing "That Which is Empty May be Filled" and "Wings", by huge wooden wings. This is the first time I've shown "Wings" in a gallery and I'm really excited about it, especially since the Arts Center is such a cool space.

Please come to the opening reception if you can.

Tearful Goodbye

Saturday, October 2, 2010

Today we officially moved out of our super cool apartment in historic
downtown Wilmington. I said goodbye to a few of my favorite things...
The faux stain-glass door that was originally in a Muppets movie,
ornately carved fireplace mantels (there were three), old hardwood
floors, my cast iron clawfoot bathtub, art deco glass knobs, 11 foot
ceilings, 22 tall windows, and the Cape Fear river that was our back
yard.
