The small port of Sibenik boasts a spectacular entrance and its own World Heritage Site. We visited the great cathedral of St. Jakov, which contained a remarkable frieze decorated with 71 sculptured faces. Then we spent the rest of the day amid the remarkable waterfalls, cliffs and boardwalks of Krka National Park, which has an historic sugar mill. in the late afternoon we traveled through the Sibenik Channel and continued to sail south toward Korcula.
