Photos from my trip - Hvar

The National Geographic/Lindblad Expeditions trip has got to be, hands down, one of the best experiences of my life. We touched down in Dubrovnik, Croatia and boarded the beautiful Panorama sail boat and headed for Hvar. The group we sailed with for the next 10 days were amazing folks. There were only 40 or so people so it was easy to get to know everyone fairly quickly. The Dalmatian Coast is the most amazing place I've ever traveled to. Until now I would have said Italy was the best but the Dalmatian Coast has the same beauty and history due to Italy's Venetian influence. Hvar is one of the most attractive towns in Croatia. We went on a walking tour of the Franciscan monastery, the stunning main street arsenal and the oldest active theaters in Croatia. We had lunch and spent the afternoon shopping and relaxing before sailing south to Sibenik.
