Pokeweed Berries

The Pokeweed berries are ripe! I picked some today and then pressed them to extract the juice. A small bucket yielded one and a half quarts! I soaked a tshirt and a piece of cotton fabric in vinegar then worked it into the spent berry mash. I can't wait to see the results and see how it holds up as a natural dye. P.S - do not eat these berries if they are growing in your area. Good for inks and dyes but not pie!
