Dinner

Tonight at Die Walskipper I tried crocodile kabobs, albacore on the shell, grilled kingslip fish, grilled calamari, shrimp, oysters on the shell in garlic sauce, scallops, and I sampled five of the most delicious desserts I've ever tasted. I especially loved the frozen nougat topped with whipped cream and a traditional South African favorite called malva which was warm and maple flavored and served with vanilla ice cream.

Tonight we dined in an open air beach front restaurant called Die Walskipper. I couldn't resist the fresh baked bread with liver pate and jam.

Skinny Dip

A predawn workout followed by a skinny dip in the Indian Ocean! Now on to Namibia!

African Perfection

We are in the final stretch of our trip before heading to Namibia. Today we came to Jeffery's Bay to explore the beach, hunt for shells and other treasures, and watch the surfers catch some massive waves. We have an unimpeded view from our room at the African Perfection hotel.
