More experimenting

Today it was too rainy to do my encaustics (I work outside), so I started sewing some fabric collages using scraps of canvas that I've been saving for years (nothing goes to waste in my studio). I plan to use these collages as the base for encaustics. I'll build up layers of pigmented wax, then scrape it back off to reveal the textures.
These are about medium in size: around 18" x 24" to 24" x 24".
