Prenatal Development
Today our Chicago adventuring led us to the Museum of Science and Industry. A highlight was seeing the Prenatal Development display - the Museum's collection of 24 real human embryos and fetuses. Ranging from 28 days to 38 weeks, this timeline vividly captures the amazing stages of growth and development before birth.
Originally donated to the Museum in 1939, the collection has been newly interpreted in a darkened gallery to allow for quiet reflection.

This is an old photo but one of my favorites. We're headed to Chicago for a few days to celebrate our 12 year anniversary.
Sunday Run Day
Another 13.1 bites the dust. Some hills today but I took them like a champ and I'm still alive. To stay motivated I imagined that I was a contestant on the Biggest Loser and Jillian Michaels was meeting me at the finish line. You do not want to disappoint Jillian.
