Book Pendant
Friday, September 13, 2013
I recently finished this experimental book pendant. I made the whole thing from collected items: a squirrel leg bone, a shell from Bald Head Island, a copper foiled human tooth, a piece of vertebra, metal buttons, a foreign coin, a few pebbles, and some old book pages. It's bound in a sheet of copper with an overlay of mica in the front. I need to find the right chain and it's ready to wear. I love my new drill press. Perfect for making tiny holes in everything.
Downtown
Sunday, September 8, 2013
Had a fun afternoon hanging with Dorothy Keith and Co. - gallery hopping and eating a bit of EVERY half price app at the Front Street Brewery in downtown Wilmington. I'm stuffed and not sure if I'll survive tomorrow's 6am run.
