Pressing out my tinctures today. Tinctures are natural medicines made with fresh or dried herbs/weeds/roots.

Amaranth

I'm not sure what kind of bugs have been eating our Amaranth but the leaves look like lace. I decided to press some and use them later in an art piece.

We started putting in the lights in the Apothecary at Curate today!!

Soaping with Ellen

I had a great Saturday making soap with my friend Ellen. We are taking advantage of these Saturday mornings to be creative.

Sage

Stocking up my stash of dried sage today. I add it to my handmade Sage & Lemongrass soap as a gentle exfoliate.

Plants

When I decided I wanted to do more with herbal medicines, I bought as many seeds online that I couldn't find locally. This morning we spent some time getting some started. Chamomile please grow for me!
